The descent from the Levada dos Tornos is very steep and not for inexperienced feet or shaky footwear. In the valley you can then cross the small river and take a staircase up to Levada Nova. A great view and probably lonely hiking pleasure offers this stretch of road. Then it goes very steep on a paved road uphill and via Santa do Serra back to the starting point of the holiday village on stilts: Quinta das Eiras.
