Built on the initiative of the Boerinnengilde and the parish priest. Design by architect J. Decoster, executed by R. Devriese, carpentry by C. De Clerck and ironwork by C. Boterberghe. Inauguration in September 1947, during which the statue of the Virgin Mary by the Bruges sculptor Karel Dupon was carried in procession to the chapel. Red brick chapel with gable roof (Flemish tiles, ridge perpendicular to the street), natural stone for cartouche with construction date in front gable and keystone of the door, decorated with a cross in relief.
