This is a great base to explore this area from. There is a good shelter and a campsite here. Perfectly reachable, including for those who do not drive a car; bus no 352 from Röjeråsvägen in the village of Tammeråsen (just half a minute down this road) will take you to the town of Rättvik within 40 minutes.
