This "Långbrygga" (long bridge) is 628 m long. Only at the very end of the bridge is there a small artificial harbor where ships can dock. From 1895 onwards, the steamer S/S Rättvik moored here for almost sixty years (hence "Ångbåtsbryggan" = steamer bridge).

Hiking

A beautiful 628-meter-long wooden bridge, completely renovated in 1992.
Today, the two excursion boats M/S Gustaf Wasa and S/S Engelbrekt dock at the pier, as do the traditional church boats at Midsummer. The pier is also a popular tourist destination. Some weddings take place there.
