Phew, that's it, you're at the top of the hill!

Exceptional point of view. On both sides of the crest of Miermont (mountain of the blackbird) the valleys of the Sainte Julienne and the Evegnée stream take shape. From this 360° viewpoint, the Meuse valley and the left bank slag heaps stand out in relief. Similarly, to the north, we can see the Netherlands and the quarries of the Montagne Saint-Pierre. To the southwest, the hills of the city of Liège. To the south-east, you can see the slag heap of chance, a marvel of biodiversity. Hares, badgers, deer, foxes, squirrels and red frogs are the occupants of these quiet places, which have nothing to envy to our Ardennes… Its summit culminates at 355 meters high.

The stiles are these turnstiles and porticos marking out the path of the walker through the meadows and bocages of the Pays de Herve. The hiker passes, the cattle stay.

Continue to the left towards the houses that can be seen in the distance.
If you walk quietly, it is possible to see animals when crossing the fields. A hare tumbling and crossing the path at full speed, a hedgehog hiding in the ditch and lots of birds (pretty tits, sparrows, starlings, blackbirds, etc.) and insects! In spring, the fields are covered with dandelions and mallows and in summer, the air resonates with the buzzing of insects and the mooing of cows. Hawthorn hedges are the charm and particularity of our countryside, while hornbeams have their roots in the stream.
