The forest of Aïtone, near the village of Evisa, dominates the bay of Porto. Here, as in the forest of Valdu Niellu, the most beautiful Laricio pines in Corsica grow. The latter extends over 400 hectares. It can be reached via a hiking trail through the chestnut groves from Evisa. The information signs about the local flora are not only interesting for children! But it is also possible to drive there via a mountain route.
