The Maartensdijkse Bos is a forest of 153 hectares between Maartensdijk and Lage Vuursche in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The forest is located on the border of Utrecht with North Holland. This border was disputed by North Holland and the Sticht from the time of Floris V at the end of the 13th century until well into the 16th century. Wikipedia

The Maartensijkse Bos was first a production forest and is increasingly being developed into a natural forest. You will find many scented conifers as well as fresh deciduous trees.
