Cycling

The Stromburg was probably built in the 11th century and was first mentioned in 1056 when Count Bertolf named himself after the Stromburg. In 1116 it was destroyed and rebuilt by Archbishop Adalbert I of Mainz. These early mentions presumably refer to the "old Stromburg" on the Pfarrköpfchen (see Pfarrköpfchen Castle).
The first reliable mention of the Stromburg comes from 1287. The village of Stromberg in the Guldenbach valley, which was first mentioned in 1344, developed under its protection.

Very nice tour, but the grass was damn high on the many meadow paths in the first half of the route (at Pentecost). On the trail itself you should know that from the starting point there is only one route that includes all levels of difficulty. During the ride you can then choose the level of difficulty. Otherwise great.
