Het Aanwijs, on Reigerlostraat in Beernem, has been designed as the largest reception gate for the Bulskampveld landscape park. The large and frequently used car park, originally constructed in the 1970s, has been given a new look, together with its surroundings. These are the most important elements of the redevelopment:
A section of the car park has been transformed into a reception square: there are benches and picnic tables and there is space for meeting.
In the new reception building, visitors will find toilets and information boards about the Bulskampveld landscape park.
In order to make the square traffic-free, the Heirweg at the Aanwijs has been permanently closed to through traffic.
In order to create the necessary space, the electricity cabin on the car park has been demolished. Fluvius built a new cabin further along Reigerlostraat. On the street side, Monja Duponcheel has applied a graffiti artwork on behalf of the province. The cycling and walking paths of the Bulskampveld junction network that connect to the reception car park and the bridleway have been rearranged for smoother and safer circulation.
A small part of the car park has been transformed into a grass field that serves as an event zone. If the car park is full, the grass field can be used for parking.

The Aanwijs car park was constructed in the 1970s and was selected by the partners of the Bulskampveld landscape park as the reception gate of the wooded area, which receives 200,000 visitors annually. Thanks to the Wildenburg-Aanwijs design plan of the Flemish Land Agency (VLM), the car park and its surroundings now have a more contemporary look.

The redesigned Aanwijs parking lot was inaugurated on September 25, 2021. There is a small square with seating and picnic benches and a building with toilets and information boards. The building has an awning where they can shelter from the rain or the bright sun.
