A meeting place for young and old in a green environment near the castle.

Until 1812, this park was part of Breda Castle and was only accessible to castle residents and their guests. From here they practiced falconry. The flowerbed with the statue of Hercules (a replica) is a reminder of the seventeenth century, when the park was laid out in French/Italian style. There were no fewer than seventeen statues in the then park.
Now you can stroll quietly here and enjoy the shade under the old trees. Large lawns invite you to linger. A perfect location where young and old find each other in peace and relaxation.
