Here is a German Panther tank that was donated to the city by general Stanisław Maczek a year after the liberation of Breda on October 29, 1945. The tank was captured from Krupp's proving ground in Meppen by his 1st Polish Armored Division. In 2003/2004 it was restored and made more weather resistant. Since 2011, there is also a monument to the 118 Breda Jews deported during the war.
