The Luimertingenmolen mill, located on the border of Diepenbeek and Kortessem, was mentioned as early as 1293. The name refers to Luimertingen, a fiefdom in Loon under the lordship of Kortessem. Water power was used for milling until 1945. The wooden undershot wheel and the locks were demolished in 1947. Since then, a diesel engine has driven the millstones. All operations ceased in 1969.

Apparently under restoration. The half-timbered house has been taken care of. The mill building itself has not shown much improvement and a water wheel is no longer there.
