Seelow once had two train stations. While the station on the Berlin-Stettin railway between Eberswalde and Frankfurt (Oder) is still in use, all that remains of the Seelow small station of the former Oderbruchbahn is the goods handling building, which also looks very dilapidated. There is another building that could possibly be the former railway building. But that's just a guess. All other railway facilities have been removed.

Hiking

The section from Dolgelin to Seelow was one of the last on the Oderbruchbahn to be closed for passenger services in September 1969. Up until the beginning of 1994, freight traffic was still taking place on the Dolgelin-Seelow Stadt section. That could be a reason why the small station and the entrance building along with the goods shed are still relatively well preserved.
