The Stuttgart-Cannstatter Rowing Club was founded on September 1, 1910 in a wooden shed on Berger Island in Bad Cannstatt and developed from 1912 onwards with its own boathouse at the Gaisburger weir. Due to the First and Second World Wars, the club's address changed several times. From 1960 onwards, the current boathouse in the Stuttgart-Mühlhausen district was planned and built and inaugurated in 1965.

Cycling

The Neckar is relatively calm here and can therefore be explored particularly well from the water. The rowing club is in a very idyllic location on the right bank of the Neckar, seen in the direction of Remseck. It also offers shady and relaxing places and delicious food to non-members.
