Egon Schiele Museum Tulln

Since its founding on the occasion of his 100th birthday in 1990, the Egon Schiele Museum in the former district prison in Tulln has been dedicated to the biography and early work of the exceptional artist. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his death in 2018, the museum gem was completely reorganized in a unique cooperation between the city of Tulln, as the owner of the building, and the NÖ Museum Betriebs, as the operator of the museum. With the reorganization, it became wheelchair accessible except for the studio (2nd floor) and is also equipped with an inviting forecourt and a popular playground.
