07/30/2003 - Central square in Rimini - Piazza Cavour was the center of the medieval city life of Rimini. Although the beautiful town square has lost its importance in the following years, it is still the magical hub of every sightseeing tour. At the square itself, the imposing statue of Pope Paul V and the Fontana della Pigna, the pine fountain, immediately catch your eye. Around the fountain used to be the daily fish and vegetable market.
