"The elongated, narrow island is exposed to the constant wind, which does not allow extensive trees, such as on Norderney or Borkum. You can often spot deer on a hike through the grove. They have been living on our island for about 50 years. Hike or drive to the viewing platform in the woods. From there you not only have a beautiful view over the small, enchanted forest area, but also a view of the North Sea.
