Hiking

An Asklepieion, after Asklepios, the god of healing, is a sanctuary dedicated to the god, usually with an attached sanatorium. The Asclepeion of Lissos from the late 3rd century BC. was destroyed or buried in an earthquake. The mosaic in the temple is very well preserved. The area is fenced. But the gate can be opened. A board on site explains all the essentials.
