The ruins of Lissos date mainly from the 1st to 3rd centuries BC. At that time, Lissos was famous for its healing springs. Among other things, the remains of the Asklepios temple and the Roman floor mosaic, which has been preserved to this day, are impressive. In Lissos there is a shaded picnic area and a fountain with drinking water.

Hiking

Lissos was a seaport which was destroyed by the Saracens 9thC. The village was famous for the Asclepion Temple and healing waters. The temple was destroyed by an earthquake. Mosaic floor (repaired) is exposed.
