According to tradition, there was already a chapel or footfall in the immediate vicinity in 1750. Today's chapel was built around 1896 by J.A. van Kempen built on. The chapel is dedicated to Saint Anna, mother of our lady.

The Sint-Annakapel is a chapel in Gebroek in the Dutch municipality of Echt-Susteren. The chapel is located on the corner of the Spoorstraat with the Gebroekerdijk in the middle of the hamlet on a square.
The chapel is dedicated to Saint Anna.
In 1750 there was already a footfall or chapel nearby.
In 1896 the chapel was built by J.A. from Kempen.
In 1976-1977 the chapel was restored. On July 30, 1978, the chapel was reconsecrated.
