Hiking

The Hellweg once led through Corvey and over the Weser to Eastern Europe. The fact that the Corveyer built their own bridge was a thorn in the side of the Bishop of Paderborn and the Höxterans, since they also had a bridge. Thus the former town of Corvey was destroyed. Gradually, however, more and more ruins are uncovered and the old city is made visible again.
