At the E-Werk Gräfendorf a "bypass" (also called "fish ladder") was created so that fish are prevented by the weir on the way up or down in the Saale.
Brand new is that the Gräfendorfer chainsaw artist Bernhard Försch has made wooden figures, which are now located there.

It reported the MainPost on 08/26/2018:

Because weirs, like here at the E-Werk Gräfendorf, can prevent the fish migrations, here (as elsewhere) a fish ladder was created.
This "fish ladder" in Gräfendorf is very elaborate.
It therefore necessarily deserves the name "Umgehungsbach".
Fish can now bypass the barrier during their migrations.

But what makes this bypass creek really a highlight is the accompanying artistic design by the chainsaw artist Bernhard Försch.
This is what the MainPost reported:

The whole area becomes an eye-catcher with the wooden figures.
