Hiking
This island belonged to the Ministry of War from 1873. In 1999, all services that were located there moved to Soesterberg and the site and buildings fell into disrepair. In 2005, the municipality bought the site, demolished some buildings and transformed the rest into homes. A new residential area has sprung up around these historic buildings.
