The Grote or Sint-Michaëlskerk is a Gothic hall church in the Utrecht town of Oudewater.
The hall church was created in the 15th century by the extension of a Gothic cruciform church, which in turn had replaced a Romanesque predecessor in the 13th century. The three naves are covered by wooden barrel vaults. The sacristy on the south side of the choir dates from the 16th century and is covered by star and net vaults. The church has been in Protestant hands since 1572 or 1573.
The church has a 14th-century tower, the Stadstoren, with a gabled roof - an unusual type in these regions - which is also perpendicular to the church. The tower originally had a defensive function. There is a north-south passage in the base. The post-war carillon is located in a dormer window from 1601 and replaces an older carillon. This old carillon is on display in the church.
