On the other hand, "The Crouching Woman" is very close to the earth. With her hands and feet on the ground, she seems to be trying to offer as little attack surface as possible to wind and weather. It depicts a moment shortly before the unfolding, shortly before an action.

Axel Süphke was born in Kiel in 1967. He trained as a sculptor
from 1994 to 1997 at the Werkkunstschule in Flensburg. Since then, Süphke has created alongside
