Hiking

Like many churches in the Westhoek, the church of Klerken, whose history dates back to the 12th century (and even to the 10th century, when an auxiliary chapel was built here, belonging to the parish of Esen), was destroyed in the First World War. The current church dates from 1920-1923 and was consecrated in 1930.
