Hiking

The castle has a 7.5 hectare park. Extensive water areas and numerous striking individual trees, including old sequoias, gingkos and giant arborvitae, characterize the picture. A forestry educational garden gives an impression of the flora of the Tertiary. Descendants of prehistoric trees, bushes and moor plants from other parts of the world provide visitors with a vivid picture of the Tertiary period in the truest sense of the word.
