    The work of Peter Josef Lenné, the famous gardening director of the Prussian kings, is also recognizable in Bad Lippspringe. Based on his plans, the 6.2-hectare Arminiuspark is said to have been created. For the ultimately binding design around 1840, the Paderborn horticulture director Nölting was responsible.

    Today, the Arminiuspark shows the visitor in a different form. From the once planted with chestnut trees, only a few specimens have survived. On the modeled terrain with its spacious lawns, the old trees have grown into impressive natural monuments.

    Fundamental changes brought the Expo year 2000, when the Arminiuspark was transformed into a so-called "Allergological communication park". The preserved park substance was deliberately left untouched by the plans. An experience for every visitor is the "Nebelwiese". Here no white smoke rises, as we know it from the papal election in Rome, but artificially produced fog. The observer should thus be shown the reduction of pollen in wet weather.

    For strolling and strolling invites the Lippe promenade. An allergy path and the allergological gardens at the Prinzenpalais not only convey interesting information to interested parties.

    Visitors to Arminiuspark can not find the signs "Enter prohibited" in many parks. On the contrary: Here, entering the wide lawns is expressly desired.
