The work of Peter Josef Lenné, the famous gardening director of the Prussian kings, is also recognizable in Bad Lippspringe. Based on his plans, the 6.2-hectare Arminiuspark is said to have been created. For the ultimately binding design around 1840, the Paderborn horticulture director Nölting was responsible.
Today, the Arminiuspark shows the visitor in a different form. From the once planted with chestnut trees, only a few specimens have survived. On the modeled terrain with its spacious lawns, the old trees have grown into impressive natural monuments.
