This warehouse building, also known as the "Hüttenbahnhof", was built in 1875 as part of the connecting track to the Berlin-Dresden railway. It was a kind of loading station between the standard track and the narrow-gauge track that ran across the building. The single-storey brick half-timbered building with a gable roof now houses the museum's special exhibition room and the WeinSalon. The entire building has a basement. The freight wagon came to Glashütte on loan from the German Museum of Technology.
