Started at approximately the height of the Jennerbahn middle station. After one kilometer, it went quite steeply uphill over beautiful paths, causing one or two drops of sweat to drip from the forehead. After three kilometers of ascent, we reached the Mitterkaseralm at 1534 m. Once there, we first refreshed

To get to the Almbachklamm, you have to hike about two kilometers slightly uphill and then two kilometers back down. Alternatively, you can go directly to the entrance at the Kugelmühle.
We entered the gorge "from behind", so always against the current 😉
Through the gorge, opened in 1894 and 3 km long

The Kehlstein was our goal today, it is a 1879-meter-high secondary peak of the Hohen Göll. At the summit stands the world-famous Kehlsteinhaus, built in 1938.
The start was in Oberau, from there a good six kilometers to the Obersalzberg, where the actual ascent begins. On excellently developed hiking

Today again a small round in preparation for tomorrow. Start in Oberau, then towards Obersalzberg. Always nicely up and down through the forest and over alpine pastures. Rested for five minutes at the Hotel Kempinski. We didn't dare to look at the beer prices, with room prices around €500 per night

To get accustomed, a small but nice round on and over the Zinken (1336 m altitude). Mostly it went over well-maintained paths. After reaching the summit cross, only 5 minutes to a beer in the Zinkenstübl. A sleet shower was approaching, how lucky that we are immediately sitting in the dry.
But no, of

After yesterday's effort, something calm today. The destination was the pottery market in Kohren-Sahlis, because the Brauatelier Kohrener Land had a stand there and offered their latest creations. So, off we went on our bikes! Arrived beaming, paid four € entrance fee for the market and looked for the

We had nothing else planned for Thursday, so we quickly got in the car and headed to Magdeburg for the Ultra Walk. There you basically run in circles a few times and 100 kilometers are done.
Well, it wasn't quite that simple. Start precisely at 8 p.m. in Herrenkrug, then 18 km to the first aid station

Start in Leisnig, directly at the edge of the forest. Then always through the forests, past many explanatory information boards. Through green corridors and along bubbling streams, you reach Hartha. A small, nice town with a supermarket in the middle, where you can stock up on food and drinks. Only about

After yesterday's exertion, we took it a bit easier today. A small, fine alpine hike was planned. From Oberau, we steadily climbed uphill towards the Purtschellerhaus at 1692 m.
It was quite relaxed up to the Trunktannenalm (where the first beer was enjoyed 🍺). After that, the actual ascent followed
