In April there are wild daffodils (yellow daffodils) everywhere in this region. The most famous places are around Les Prés-d’Orvin, a little east of here.
These fields here are also huge and littered with yellow flowers. Advantage: there are significantly fewer visitors here and the large car park in Nods is less than a 2km walk away. If you're coming from Murten, Nods is much more convenient by car via Ins and Les Landeron than Les Prés-d'Orvin via Biel.
I combined the daffodil visit with a walk from Nods to the Chasseral then down over the ridge to the east and over the well-known Bison Ranch back to Nods. From the lower part of the ridge to Nods there were a lot of fields with daffodils 👍🏻
