    Running

Ennerdale Water is the most westerly lake in the Lake District National Park. It formed in the depression caused by the glaciers. It's about 150 ft (46 m) at its deepest point.
It's normally a bit quieter than the other lakes and has a brilliant lakeside trail all around it, perfect if you want a fun but fairly flat run.
Head to Ennerdale Bridge for post run refreshments.

    Hiking

Ennerdale Water is probably the most beautiful of the Lakes in my opinion & seems to be overlooked by the masses so if your seeking beautiful surroundings in near solitude then this is the place for you.
