On April 21, 1525, Martin Luther preached against the peasant revolt in this church. The restoration of the three-aisled basilica from the 13th century is very complex because of its hillside location. Here too, the German Foundation for Monument Protection, along with other donors, got involved twice. The Lady Chapel is located northwest of the church.
