Here you can visit the Friedrich Gottlob Keller Museum, the former home of the inventor of the wood pulp paper. He lived in cribs from 1853 to 1885.
The romantic painter Caspar David Friedrich also stayed here several times and created a number of drawings. In his honor, the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Weg with numerous information boards was laid out between Schöna, Krippen and along the banks of the Elbe.
