The 2nd Ausschläger Bridge on Ausschläger Weg, built in 1903, leads over the South Canal. The bridge was originally decorated with two shell limestone sculptures by Alfred Hofmann. Two children and their mother, who represented “The Rest,” were destroyed in the war; the worker with the hammer representing “The Work” is still preserved
