Hiking
Erected in 1950-1951, the cross stands 7m tall near the summit of Carrigfadda. From here there are panoramic views of west Cork. Especially stunning on a good day are that to the Galley Head Lighthouse and Old Kinsale Head. Local people keep a tradition of climbing up here during Christmas.
