The Sint-Pieters-Stoelkerk in Sint-Pieters-Voeren, part of the municipality of Voeren, dates from the seventeenth century. She was built by Commander Quaedt de Beeck of the nearby commandery. Yet the church functioned independently of the commandery. After all, it was dependent on the collegiate church of Sint-Martens-Voeren until 1794 and was served by one of the canons of the chapter of that church.
