The Church of St. John the Baptist rises on a rock above the village of Huccorgne. Although the church dates only from 1907, a stone on the east side of the choir indicates that the parish already had a place of worship in 1662. Incidentally, all the stones from the previous church, primarily the sandstone rubble, were salvaged and reused in the current church's masonry. The remaining stones likely came from quarries in the Condroz region.
