At the top of the rue de Famelette stand farm and castle, properties of the Collinet family since 1878 which succeeded a long theory of landowners: Thiry Lardinois de Famelette in 1234; Collar de Hosden in 1441; Berlaymont de Floyon in 1558; d'Aspremont-Lynden at the beginning of the 19th century.

Famelette castle developed around a primitive 14th century square keep. Today, it is embedded in later buildings but visually isolated by its roof in the shape of an eight-sided arrow, terminated by a bulbous steeple. The architectural ensemble is beautiful. It includes the castle, the farm, its barn and its outbuildings. The buildings are built of limestone rubble. Lintels, thresholds and door and window jambs are also in cut limestone.

Farm and barn date from 1563-1564. The monumental barn - one of the largest in Wallonia - has retained its original framework.

No more cattle today in the stables that surround the yard. From agriculture to culture in fact: they have been converted into a permanent exhibition center for the natural park and notably house an impressive collection of church roosters from the 12th to the 20th century.
