From the La Verna monastery complex, the Frassati path follows a leisurely climb that leads in just over half an hour to the 1283 meter high balcony of Monte Penna. A short section of path through the forest towards Monte Pennuzzo, where there is a wonderful view over the forest mountains of the Upper Arno Valley.
