A very small village nestled on a peninsula on the Swiss side of the Lago di Maggiore. This beautiful little village with its lake side lined with cafés is a magnet for the many cyclists who flee the cold, rain, snow and gray fog of Northern Switzerland and Southern Baden-Würtemberg to soak up the sun rays, enjoy a nice bike ride around the lake with very little traffic. Order a nice espresso or limoncello and just enjoy the magnificent view.

Most of the cafés in this village open early and close late with the opportunity to just enjoy a café or a typical Ticino Polenta. The roads are very well suited for road cycling with very little traffic between Ango and Melide.
