Pfalzfeld station is in a beautiful location above the village of Pfalzfeld. The track system was built in the same style as Alterkülz, Ebschied and Lingerhahn. There is also a beautiful water tower above the station.
The reception building (middle reception building) is a little larger than at the other stations on the Hunsrückbahn between Simmern and Boppard. The building can also be found in Windesheim, Argenthal, Sohren and Hirschfeld. But the building plan was also used on the Nahe, in Niederhausen. Two water cranes completed the picture from 1906. Other facts: Pfalzfeld is the highest point on the Hunsrückbahn.
The entire station complex was preserved until June 1983 without major changes. There is still an identical system in FUNCTION today at Ulmen station in the Eifel.
