An attractive gem right on the river: the city park "der Stadtgarten", which has been created since the state garden show in 2011. The former Neckar outdoor pool was extensively redesigned for this purpose.

With an area of 0.3 ha, it is the second largest park in the city and invites you to walk and linger.

In addition to numerous seating areas (some right on the banks of the Neckar!) you can find the following in the Stadtgarten:
- a boathouse with a boat rental and the canoeing club
- the "portoneckar" kiosk, open in summer
- the sculpture "Hand" with a finger pointing to the old town
- the children's playground "Treasure Island"
