The waters of two bog areas converge in Lake Gudow before continuing on over the 400-meter-long Hellbach into Lake Sarnekow. The neighboring Segrahner See also gives its water here.
A beautiful circular route leads along the Gudower lake and through the small town Gudow with one of the oldest stone churches of the Duchy of Lauenburg.
