Trek starts from Mt Cook Village with plenty of parking, The Old Mountaineer's Cafe and The Hermitage Hotel. It climbs steadily up the valley with constantly changing views and returns on the same path.

Super nice tour. The bridge may still be closed in the morning. Check online beforehand. It's definitely worth getting there early. Extremely many people on the move
