Hiking
Mount Ollivier is 1933m high and can be reached in 30min from Mueller Hut. The climb leads over a not very well marked way ujd partly over loose scree. The mountain was the first major mountain that Sir Edmund Hillary climbed in 1939. 14 years later he was the first man on Mount Everest!

This is the main summit, which is not visible from the Mueller Hut. Only the sub-summit is visible from the Mueller Hut. The ascent to the main summit leads via the sub-summit and requires a short uphill section. A rock tower must be bypassed on the right. The path is partially marked with cairns.
