Affectionally referred to as 'Waddy' by locals, this is one of the main climbs in the area. Approaching from the south it is an average of 6% for 2.5 miles. Approaching from the north involves tackling a steep kicker early on called Hagg Wood Ramp which although only an 8% gradient, it maxes out at around 20%, so is not for the unfit

fast descent , like really fast descent on decent tarmac, watch out for cattle grids , should hit 30mph , some tights bends to catch you out, but superb descent in Waddington
