The Rosenthal stop is on the Royal Prussian Eastern Railway and is now served every two hours by the RB26 of the Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn NEB. The station was built in 1954 by local residents themselves. After the reunification, it should no longer be used and had practically disappeared from the timetables by then. The Heimatverein Alt Rosenthal e.V. developed about 30 years ago from a citizens' initiative to preserve the Alt Rosenthal train station. In the statutes of the association, the preservation of the station is still the top priority.
