The Beltringharder Koog was created in 1987 by Eindeichung. Nordstrand has been a peninsula since that time. Through the reservoirs, a natural paradise has developed, where you can observe many different species of birds, including curlews, kibitz, ringed plovers and even spoonbills, especially at the time of bird migration. Small snack bars invite you to linger in good weather.
