The Stone Wall in Rotselaar is a historic wine wall dating back to 1814 and located along the southern flank of the Wijngaardberg. This imposing limestone wall was originally built to create a favourable microclimate for wine growing: it retains heat and protects the grapes from cold northern winds. Today, the Stone Wall is a unique heritage monument that bears witness to the rich wine growing history in the region and offers a beautiful walking area with a view over the rolling landscape of Rotselaar.
